Lighthouse Jan van Speijck

The biggest attraction of Egmond aan Zee is the lighthouse J.C.J. van Speijk. The striking white lighthouse is definitely worth a visit.

This lighthouse on the North Sea coast is one of the oldest lighthouses in the Netherlands that is still in use. The lighthouse is named after Lieutenant Commander Jan van Speijk. He is buried at the foot of the lighthouse.
